My Guide to Hosting Anonymously and Freely

If you've been living anywhere but under a rock, you know that the web feels more sanitized than it did in the past years. The anonymous web we used to have has been replaced with centralized social media, which is awful from a moral standpoint and from a privacy-related one.
This guide will show you different services designed to keep you anonymous and online. I hope you enjoy :D

Domains

Incognet

Incognet resells from internet.bs/Namecheap and offers a wide variety of TLDs available via BTC, XMR, ETH and even PayPal. Domain registrations are NOT automatic due to abuse, and it may take upwards of 12 hours to get your order processed.

NiceVPS

I couldn't find what registrar NiceVPS uses for reselling, but they offer an insane amount of TLDs, albeit at higher prices. However, NiceVPS allows pretty much anything to be hosted so long as it's legal.

OrangeWebsite

OrangeWebsite used to offer anonymous domain registration for all the TLDs they offered but it appears they only support it for the .is TLD now. Quite an expensive registrar but worth it if you have money to blow.

CheapPrivacy

I have not tested this registrar, but it's Luke Smith approved so it can't be that awful. The prices are good (even if the only TLDs they support are .ru/.su) and they appear to be reselling R01 (a very lenient Russian registrar). Sadly, you cannot pay in XMR.

Shinjiru Malaysia

A very lenient registrar that currently hosts Doxbin on their sister site (shinjiru.com). They offer anonymous domain registration for a handful of TLDs but you cannot pay with crypto. (Make sure to use a Malaysian address or they will ban your account).

NiceNIC (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED)

This is probably the best registrar, period*
*(so long as you buy a .com, .net, .top or .hk TLD, which they wholesale). NiceNIC ignores Spamhaus blocks and accepts crypto (though you will have to message them if you want a proxy registration for a .hk TLD).

ua-hosting

Not a private registrar, but they don't mind fake passport/WHOIS data. Resells Webnames.ru, EvoNames, UkrNames and more.

AVOID Njalla, they steal domains.

TLDs

It may surprise you to learn that not all TLDs are created equally. Some registries are much more authoritarian with what you can host, while others don't care at all. I have a short list here that will give you the gist without diving in too deep.

.top - A very lenient Chinese TLD, perfect for controversial sites.
GRS Domains - Most famous for .win and .party & home to controversial sites, eg TheDonald/Kemono/Soyjak Party.
.moe - Currently home to 8chan and ATF, perfect for controversial content and relatively cheap.
.cat - Technically for the Catalan region but also quite lenient with content, home to files.offshore.cat
.ru - ccTLD for Russia, very cheap but will require passport data unless you use a private registrar.
Verisign - Good for "free speech" requiring projects, bad for anything else.
.st - The golden standard for TLDs, just make sure to register directly from the NIC.
.hk - Make sure to buy it from NiceNIC!
.sc - A very good general-purpose TLD.
.vc - TLD for Saint Vincent, was used by Breachforums.
.su - Old TLD for the Soviet Union, requires passport data unless you buy anonymously. Very, very lenient.
.is - Very strong TLD, resilient compared to other ccTLDs (did drop Kiwifarms).
.li - The TLD of my site, has no WHOIS registrant data displayed and is quite cheap.
.pk - Quite cheap and displays practically no WHOIS data.
.rs - Another general-purpose TLD.
.pw - A very popular general TLD, but still quite "bulletproof".
.lc - A rather uncommon TLD but popular with controversial sites.
.se - Sweden is great for both TLDs and hosting.
.wf/.yt/.re/.pm/.gs - All french controlled TLDs, avoid .fr though.
.la - Commonly used as a "Los Angeles" TLD, not cheap but a good option.
.to - The most popular "offshore" TLD, displays NO WHOIS info.
.cx - Commonly used as a .com alternative, surprisingly lenient.
.cr - A less popular "offshore" TLD but worth looking into. Pretty expensive.
.ph - Used by archive.is, quite lenient.
.vu - Used by archive.is, quite lenient.
.co - An okay option if you cannot purchase any of the aforementioned.

AVOID IDENTITY.DIGITAL TLDs AT ALL COST. They have suspended multiple sites and are known to change their premium prices to gouge more money out of buyers.

Shared Hosting

NameCrane

Very lenient host with multiple locations. Also quite cheap.

OrangeWebsite

Secure Icelandic web hosting. Payments in crypto accepted.

Shinjiru

Pretty expensive web hosting, but could be worth it if you need lesser-hosted locations. Not a private host, but you can fake credentials.

Incognet

Web hosting in the Netherlands and the US, making it perfect for "free-speech" needing sites.

PrivateAlps

Probably the most well-known "offshore" host. They allow everything that isn't illegal and will keep you hosted no matter what.

1984 Hosting

Really damn expensive but also worth it. Please note that they follow Icelandic laws so make sure you don't host anything illega.

AnonRDP

I doubt they offer "Limitless bulletproof hosting", but their web hosting plans are pretty attractive.

VPSes

Please note I will only list the best of the best VPS hosts here. For other lists, check out Bitcoin-VPS.

BuyVM

If there's a controversial site online, chances are they use BuyVM as their host. They are without a doubt one of the most liberal hosts on the planet, and address details are not checked on crypto payments.

Privex

Another extremely lenient host that allows any content (legal in the host country).

NiceVPS

Anonymous hosting that's well worth the premium. You can also add full disk encryption for even more security.

PrivateAlps

PrivateAlps is not only extremely lenient, but also has servers not available elsewhere (Kali Linux servers, Dedicated GPU Servers, 100 Gbps servers, etc).
